AFA-Miraa, Pyrethrum, and Other Industrial Crops Directorate, in collaboration with the Miraa Pricing Formula Committee, held a joint consultative meeting today with Miraa exporters.
The meeting focused on deliberating the implementation of the new Miraa prices, gazetted by the Agriculture CS on February 15, 2025.
The forum was presided over by AFA Director General, Dr. Bruno Linyiru, OGW. The introduction of the new Miraa prices is a critical step toward ensuring farmers receive fair compensation that reflects market dynamics, production costs, and global demand.
