Today, the Agriculture and Food Authority through the Fibre Crops Directorate held a consultative forum on the Draft Crops (Fibre Crops) Regulations , 2024.

In attendance was the Acting Director Fibre Crops Directorate, Grace Kyalo, Stakeholders and  relevant state departments, Partner Government agencies and research and academia institutions.

The aim  of the meeting was to conduct a public participation exercise in accordance to the Crops Act section 40, to get the views of the Stakeholders and general public in the sector.
