Horticultural Crops Directorate is a Government agency established under the Agriculture and Food Authority Act of 2013. Working within the AFA, the Horticultural Crops Directorate is responsible for regulating the production, marketing, and processing of horticultural crops in Kenya, with the aim of promoting their competitiveness both locally and internationally. HCD plays a critical role in promoting the growth and development of the horticultural industry in Kenya, which is a major contributor to the country's economy.
